I've been somewhat busy...

While the Army was dead, I went completely apeshit on my gear, focusing mainly on three of my guitars; new pickups, hardware, a whole new BODY in one case...



Yanked all my EMGs in favor of Duncan Trembuckers, and Classic Stacks in the neck-slots. Much better. Then, as I was poking around in the parts-closet one day during this, saw the body of my high-school sweetheart (guitar) I'd been preserving since the late 80s, figured, why not?



Still need to get said neck for her, and finish the new body...and now Diamond Jimi and I are discussing having a Frankie-replica build off...for which I supplied him with a '71 quarter :D....I've got a zillion projects in the air...lol.

Of most note, and I've raved about it from here even before the crash I believe, to Frankenstraat to DDLR and Rothfans was Big-Blocking all of my Floyd Rose Tremolos. UNBELIEVABLE improvement in sustain, note-clarity, projection, etc. Try one!! :D

Yeah, I think my grand total was 10 pickups, a couple of which are still in boxes...:D

Best thing was the majority of them I got nearly new off Ebay for $20-30 each!
