Will do. Or I can just upload it to the gallery...:D

And to answer the noob question: Yes, "emulated" means it sounds more like an amp than a transistor radio...

I had my modded amp OT blow when I was 16 and for that summer I used the Radio Shack stereo mixer-preamp, chaining the channels on into the other then into an Emerson solidstate record player cassette input.

I learned later about germaniums in that thing being the cause of the fuzz I got. It was okay!

I agree with Sarge's Vox recommendation. The line6 pod 2.0 is what I use when the kids and wife are sleeping. I also have a Mesa Studio Series from 79 or 80. It was the predecessor to the Studio .22. 35 watts of rock.

I have a Vox Tonelab modeler with a pair of wireless headphones that I used for quiet practice.
It sounds way better than using a small practice amp.

I had a pod and I liked that as well....

Do the batteries last long, or is it a rechargeable setup for the headphones?

The POD and POD 2.0 I tried were cool, but nothing compared to PODfarm. I'm just running that on my computer out of two M-Audio BX5A monitors...sounds amazing, and there's a huge, expandable reference library of tones with the expansion packs...I'm using it for amplified practice as well as for recording backing tracks....:D

I take it the PODfarm is better for recording than the POD 2.0? I've used teh 2.0 to fatten up some guitars and also to drop some leads, but it just doesn't cut it for the main guitar stuff going on the recordings.

By leaps and bounds, even. I was shocked. Very pleasantly surprised.

Theres some cool mini "real" tube amps out there now
in the lower wattage range.. Would make great practice
amps, big amp tone in little packages...
I think fender has one, an 18 watt ??? I remember another
thread here discussing them. Obviously they cost more...
But if you have the dosh...

Actually, if I was going to get a "little" amp, it'd probably be an Epiphone Valve Jr. with the Mercury Magnetics Mod..I mean, you could almost buy a Marshall head for what you'll pay for it in the end, but holy crap that thing sounds good...doesn't suck without the mod, but once you hear one with that transformer mod...wow.

I mean, super straightforward, one knob...but the louder you crank it, the meaner it gets...meanest sounding 15 watts I've heard (well, besides my Boogie on the Class A setting...lol) it's not gonna go full metal on you, but definitely cops an early VH-amp on verge of meltdown-esque vibe...
