I kinda like it, looks like a pirate guitar or something.
I was at the Buffalo Bill museum in Cody, Wyoming a few days ago and it reminds me of what the indians used to do to their rifles. They had some old indian rifles on display with the brass tacks nailed in and rawhide replacing metals parts that were broken or missing.
That looks like one of those Marc Trussart deals, he build strats teles and pauls with fuckin' airplane gas gauges and weird stuff like distressed metal bodies and acid-etched parts like we see here with the metal.
I'm not fond of it.
It's faux-aging, never been a fan of that.
Another thing that's lost on me is why the thinblade humbuckers but no P-90 in the bridge. What's the point in a paul special without the P-90?
At first glance it appears to be loplolly pine stained walnut, but then again it coudl be a cheap slice of walnut.
There's one other guy who does things like this beside Trussart but I can't recall right now..
