It's a budget guitar that probably sells for $3,000 because it came from the custom shop. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

I can understand the concept behind configuring this thing: fans of the Les Paul Jr. who want the fancy top added are the market here for this thing.
Probably has a nice, stinging bite with only half the magnetic draw off the strings.. and more resonance with the lone stud bridge. But I'd expect they issue it with a P90 - not having that is a mistake!
If they did a 24 fret 2010 Flying V Custom this way I couldn't afford it, but I'd like to try it.Comment

You guys must have missed this little gem, also courtesy of our friends at Gibson...
For A Mere $170,000, You Too Can Have A Custom Jimi Hendrix...PIANO?

I pretty much avoid buying brand names anymore. If I like it, I buy it regardless of what corporate logo is on it. Levis aren't Levis anymore. They are Chinese knockoffs of what used to be made in California. When the companies themselves got involved in counterfitting their own goods, fuck paying the premium price. No! That they do. They are mass produced unlike a Steinway but they are consistant and well made. Unlike Yamaha, Baldwin uses the traditional wood actuators instead of plastic. They are real pianos, MADE IN USA for a reasonably price. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

I would say Baldwin is probably the best deal in a piano. Even Bossendorfer German pianos are made in south Africa now.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment
