I had a Special 120 when I was a kid...worked fine for practicing in my room but after trying to do my first couple of paying gigs with it right after high school knew it wasn't going to cut it...got my first half-stack and never looked back.

I've got 2 Bandits collecting dust. Both need repair since they caused my '59 Gibson Flying V to burst into flames. I gave it a true Rock and Roll send off by stuffing it through the back of my 69' Plexi that was given to me by EVH at a kegger up in Northridge way back. No worry's about the V/Plexi loss, I have 8 more of them in storage...

I believe he thinks he can play but I wouldn't call it music, which I'll recuse myself from criticizing directly or else I would agree I would be obliged to provide something in comparison.

Which I'm not going to do, never said I would, never implied I would.

I also realize I'd seen heard some of it before linked on either DDLR or Rothfans, but didn't follow past the first 20 seconds that didn't catch my attention.

So now what I'm doing is identifying the music, with the person in the pics who seems more worthy of pity than respect - which was my initial reaction when he first showed up running mauf here.

Like any guitarist who is conscious of the sound he responds to best. Dime would've sounded like Dime on any rig he used, tube or solid state.
I can go on any amp/rig set up and dial in a sound that works for me. People who know my style and sound would still recognize it as me...
