Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!

"What did the drummer say to get kicked out of the band?
Hey, guys...I write songs, too!"
Pretty much the same sort of thinking explains why bass guitarists don't usually attempt to play lead, and this track is further evidence of why the principle stands. That's me plunking away in my typical ham-fisted, wasted-Jimmy Page playing style. The idea was for each lick to "comment" on the end of every vocal, a direct rip-off from the opening of "Yankee Rose". Cheap Trick fans will recognize the bass line, which I stole lock, stock and barrel from "On Top of the World". Fortunately, no one else in the band had heard of that group or the song. I came up with the blues scale ending because quite frankly, I couldn't come up with anything else.
Written as a joke, this was a throw-away song from our first album. Oddly enough, it went on to be about the only original song we ever got requests for.

Beautiful man. Sounds so good. Hey, in this clip were you using any of those 5 beauties in your avatar? Just wanna have an image in my mind when I listen to it again.
“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”
"If the American people had ever known the truth about what we (the BCE) have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched." - Poppy Bush, 1992
Finally found the confounded bridge on that tune...

Are you using the 3 cab setup?
And, are you using your Line 6 for Verbs and delay or the PT vst's?
Thanks! Yup, that was the usual 121/57/D6 on the "Green 4x12" on each input, will bounce it to a stereo track later...reeeeally liking how it's sounding! I had a breakdown part I needed a bridge to put them together with, finally found it today. Gotta do leads next... but so far...

Oh yeah, DJ...to answer your other question..only using the Boss CE-3 Chorus emulation in the Line 6 DL-4 ever-so subtly to get a spread between inputs 1 & 2, the only 'verb on it is coming off the Mesa on input 1. That's pretty much my straight-up live sound into the M-box. Only plugs-in on it are like the standard Pro Tools electric guitar EQs, like "Big Stack" or "Add Clarity" on the 57s and 121s, and the Air-Kill "lows only" EQ preset on the D6 tracks (since it's a kick drum mic anyway)...standard presets.
Thinking I need to build an isolation box for my cab so I can CRANK my head when using Recabinet...cool as the sound I'm getting is, I can tell my amp needs to be opened up a bit more...
