I got this from a Japanese internet auction like eBay.

          here's the link

it was made in the '80s in Japan and it's as good as the original Chiquita of Erlewine(not Hondo's).

I agree the Hondo was an awful copy.

Rus those are some nice Juniors. I was at the Gnashville Guitar Show a couple of weekends ago, and there were a couple of originals. They are selling for around 5- 8 grand these days I guess, though I am no expert.

And back in the 80s all my friends had one because you get them for $250-350 in any pawnshop, and all the pawnshops had at least one. If only I knew then what I know now.

Here, this is from June 15:

                    Damn Cato, sweet Tele!

And I got a Rat when they were just brand new. It had a great sound, but it was not what I was after, so I eventually traded it off for something else (I don't recall what).

I love that tele. Wish i had one.
I agree pawn shops are sometimes a place for great finds.

                        Here. Hot off the press.

                        Left to right:

Late 70s Japanese-made Sigma Acoustic (by Martin), 1998 Epiphone Korina Flying V, 1980 Fender Lead I, 1985 JB Player neck-thru-body, 2008 Epiphone Les Paul Studio, 1989 Gibson Flying V, 1985 JB Player Neck-thru-body, 1980 Fender Lead II, 1999 Epiphone Korina Explorer, 1997 Fender Jazz (Mexican-made), and the center piece?
My trusty 1979 Marshall Mk II 100w Super Lead powered by NOS Siemen EL34s on a mid-70s slant cab. Note that the only thing in that photo that cost me over 300 dollars was the Gibson Flying V which I bought brand new in 1989 for $550.

                          I'd keep the:

                          acoustic
                          bass
                          explorer
                          stratocaster
                          and the lead w/kahler

When I get rid of gear, I promise myself the money goes back into better gear. Can't move forward with a new score unless you let the junk go, and those JB Player, the V's and the Epi Paul aren't doing you any favors hanging around... but if the Paul was a gift I understand keeping that one too.

Can't move forward if you don't know how to play GAR.

I knew you were going to make an ass out of yourself again.
                            Do you practice being a self-righteous panty-waste?
Did you learn to be a jerk or were you born that way?

What 'junk'? Some of this stuff is not 'top shelf', but I do not keep my guitars around simply to impress the likes of you. Am I suppose to give fuck-all about your delusional commentary about what YOU would do with EVERYONE ELSE's axes? Only a non-guitarist who wishes they owned anything of value would continually make mealy-mouthed farting noises about what to do with other people's gear.

Gibson Flying V is my Number One Son.
                            Not doing me any favors?
                            What a stupid comment.

But then being the Guitar Fairy, I suppose your cardboard and plywood copies of classic Hondo guitars come alive at night when you sprinkle magic dust on them, and fuck you gently in your assholes. Yes I use the plural, because nobody knows which end is your ass.

Sometimes I keep guitars due to sentimental value, because I actually have friends in my life....something you would not understand.

Of course, you do not understand keeping guitars around for reasons other than to try to impress people, either. And who would be impressed with a bunch of third-rate shit guitars from the local Salvation Army?
Do you hang around elementary schools hoping to impress 10-year-olds by telling them you are a 'rock star'?

That is the sort of attitude you continually display around here.
                            Transparent as you are.

It is as if you can find no self-worth unless you talk smack about guitars you wish you could afford, but know you cannot have. Poor widdul GarGar can't have any real guitars, as he still has not managed to figure out how to play "Mary Had A Little Lamb" on the plastic ukelele his demented grandma gave him on his 50th birthday.

Guess what? Those guitars in that photo? They are all mine! I OWN them!
And you cannot have them. Too fucking bad.

                            PPPPPPPPPPPTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!! !!!!!!

Sorry, I am beyond the sentimentals with the guitar.

I don't fondle the thing like it was my dick listening to "Missisippi Queen" or "I'm The One" and I haven't even practiced regularly in over a decade so I could give a shit what you keep or throw away.
