That's cool, I was in a band with a dude like you. it was like looking in a mirror when learning covers, lol. Somehow it was an advantage to learning covers in record time.
We put together 61 tunes and went live in 30 days. It was a great team in action.
Even wrote and performed 4 originals for that 4th of July shindig.

Damn. Now there's a pace for my old band. When we started, we wrote about 30-ish tunes, and practiced every day for 6 months. (partly 'cause our drummer had just started to play the damn things...)

Came the day of our first gig, we were as tight as a drum.
