Hey everyone. Def a much more mellow night then either of the garden shows. I was bummed cause it was my last (probably), but the whole feel of the show, the crowd was more mellow. Even in VIP, I think lots of ppl who weren't die hards were comped tix and were just lame. The band was great, no mistakes, great set, Dave sounded good all the way, was funny, etc, but Dave did not have his NYC attitude working at all. Hard to describe. Just a different feel.
    Stay Frosty!

THE DAY IS DONZO LET'S HAVE SOME FUNZO!!

Wow, NYC must have been really amazing because I thought that was the best concert I've ever seen! Train wreck China Town? Not from my seat. Sorry my battery died during the stream. LIVE in front of your naked steaming eyes at ROTH ARMY!
Maybe this is what a heroine addict feels like after getting a long awaited fix, shooting up in the corner of some abandoned building and just not giving a fuck about what the rest of the world thinks...TATTOO"

High points: Women in Love, Girl Gone Bad, Hear About it Later, The New material, Wofgangs vocals and bass and the overall sound. Dave was very good of course and I was proud of Eddie. He really seems to have gathered himself and got his shit together.
The backing vocals were quite impressive and they were not piped in

I notice "Secrets" mentioned on a few pages.

No but with the state of Wolfgangs vocals they can do any song that Dave can still sing.

Here we are just before the show...

Bass good, background vocals good. That just nailed the Sauce Sobowleski coffin shut for good.

If they play Secrets and Light up the Sky, is there anything they cant do ??
Seems they are up for anything. This is where the tour is better than the last.
(not to mention a little old album just released)

In '81 saw guy fall and tumble roll from entrance top step to floor, beer splashing in his bounces at Forum before VH started. So wasted not hurt or cracked head, but was one of those slow motion things that had all watching jaw dropped. 300 pounder for the strike!

The band was much better than 2007/2008. I think the biggest thing tonights show suffered from was a New York Hangover effect. Playing out in the sticks for a casino crowd after Ny,NY is probably anticlimactic.
