I disagree with that...

Dave was strong on the 2007 rehearsal and stayed consistant the entire tour while the band fumbled around trying to keep up with the click tracks and piped in vocals and bass...

This tour the band is killing it and Dave is struggling to keep up...

Yup.... Saw them on the 2nd stop of the tour in Greensboro... Me and Poj were marveling at how great Dave sounded....

And we weren't even drunk....

Lol I went to a PIL show in London when I lived in Europe. Went with a good friend of mine and we got hammered. We skipped college classes to go and had the same deadline. In anycase, during the show, my friend decided to jump onstage and got kicked in the butt by Johnny Rotten and then escorted stage left out a side door. I thought to myself: "Self, any way you are going to find out where your friend and ride went is to follow". So I jumped on stage, got kicked in the butt by Johnny Rotten, and escorted out the same door. Lol.....outside I found my friend and two other dudes...all sitting down in the alley.....just rolling with laughter.... Least I got home that night. HA!

If for some reason Dave's problem is due to his throat (dysphasia, polyps, nodules etc) it can be treated. Supposedly, that doctor Steven Zeitels treated Steven Tyler and Roger Daltrey who had the same problems, and it restored their voices, better than before (arguably) Daltrey had his surgery a month before The Who's Super Bowl appearance. I hope that is not Dave's problem, will have to wait and see/hear. Gonna try and stay optimistic and frosty...

If that surgery works Dave should get it done ASAP, imagine him being able to sing "On Fire" again

I was at a show 20 years ago when Dave turned on his roadies and I'm surprised that he still doesn't realise how fucking unprofessional it looks and how it's bad for the show.

It's one thing for the crowd to party along when his singing is a bit off, you can overlook that, but it's hard to have a good time when you are watching people getting abused at their work.

It's like if you went out for dinner and the maitre de was screaming at the waitresses all night. I know it must be frustrating for him when his voice goes but being a dick about it compounds that problem big time.

If there are technical problems deal with them off stage like a professional don't try and hide behind them in public.

Hate to burst your bubble, but normal behavior doesn't apply to =VH=. LOL

Paul Stanley had it done and he sounds as good as new now, well worth it if he or any other singer has a physical problem. Vocal coaches can also do wonders. Tom Keifer of Cinderella was dogged with rumors that he had all sorts of vocal problems and could never sing again, turns out he had a nerve problem in his vocal chords and after working with several vocal coaches he found one who knew how to retrain him to sing. Now he sounds fucking phenomenal. Here's a video I shot myself in 2011.

Glad to hear that Tom is sounding better. I saw them a few years ago and he sounded terrible.

He honestly sounded better in 2011 than when I saw them open for Poison in 1986. I can't wait for a 2012 show.
