They were great. No surprises on the set. Dave is still a true frontman. His vocals were pretty good. EVH's solo was amazing. The kid is better than MA. AVH was great. I thought the sound @ Staples was pretty shitty, sounded muddy to me. I wish an ALD or soundboard would surface so we could really tell actually how they sound live. The crowd stood up the entire time and was very loud and into the show. Women in the audience ate up Dave's raps. Just an obervation, the crowd was much older than I expected. I am 43, but most people were between late 40s and early 60. Oh, before the show, the guy who says he discovered Van Halen (G.S) was there with his wife. The crowd went nuts. They say way back on the floor, which I thought was odd for such a "superstar."Comment
