This was Ed with the guy in the chair. Tommy and I had talked to him Tuesday, and I talked to him again after the buses left. Guy was just beaming, Ed made his day.

And re: the hearing problem...I seem to remember Ed mentioning some hearing loss in his right ear, since Al's drum are usually behind Ed, on the right. Von was on Ed's right...

He was laughing and smiling, and you could just tell he is finally in a good place. He looks healthy, and he was just really cool to everyone he saw. I think Edward Van Halen is really at peace with himself now.
