For any true ROTH fan, this is something that just cannot be missed. 15 hours of Diamond Dave on the radio! The Diamond one presenting Boston with morning debauchery for the masses!! Are you ready for this???!?!?!
Diamond Dave is filling in as morning D.J. on 100.7 WZLX Boston's Classic Rock Monday, March 14th through Friday, March 18th!
DLR will be appearing this week only from 6-9 am.
For those who do not live in the Boston area we will be presenting the broadcast in entirety on this website. Keep checking this update to listen to the broadcast in Real Audio format.
Diamond Dave is a natural communicator and radio fits him to a tee. He has been presenting his views on everything from his E.M.T. training to Van Halen. He is taking on all topics and seems to be very well versed on current events.
Here is what he had to say about Van Halen (thanks to arastar for the small transcription)
Someone asked about VH and him getting back together. He said that EVERY YEAR, at the beginning of the year his management approaches VH's current manager (he made a joke about how many they've gone through) and asks them if they're ready.
He feels it'd be the best tour ever...the Mighty VH. He mentioned that the last VH tour (w/Sam) bankrupted a ton of promoters, that they averaged 5-6,000 seats per night and that that is whey there are lawsuits going on about it. He said he's ready and willing any time but the bro's just can't get it through their thick skulls that it's the way to go.
DLR is also throwing a Saint Patrick's Day Party that will be held at a secret location in Boston on Thursday, March 17th from 5-7pm. Fans can win an invite the party by listening to WZLX!
