I got my copy (hardback) for $10.50 U.S.Originally posted by Carmine Raguzza.
Take the autographed one! I paid 37$ for mine and it had no autograph. Besides French, you'll read it again and again and again.....then you might read it again!

Thanks for the update, Carmine! There were 8 left when I bought mine in March of this year.
Sorry, Frenchie! Vanhalenstore.com is out!"He doesn't need to sell millions of records, he doesn't need to fill arenas, he doesn't need to be popular, he doesn't need your money, AND HE DOESN'T NEED YOU!"

Hey Crowbar, where'd that pic come from? It's not in the book.
I must have been lucky i paid 12 bucks for mine on ebay a long time ago and it was perfect and doubtful if it was ever even read at all.Comment

The only drawback is the binding is a piece of shit. My book fell apart after the third read. The pictures will fall out.“Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding” ― Betty WhiteComment

Crowbar, thanks man here's some stars *****
That pic's a keeper.
It sounds like there's some story here behind the scenes.
Anyone got any more info on this pic?Comment

Re: Just buy it, Frenchie!
Ah, so it wasn't just mine that did that... On the 3rd or 4th read, all the pics fell out of mine, then on the 7th or 8th read, the entire spine/binding started parting company with the pages, so now I've got two big chunks of book.Originally posted by Switch84

Pity it's not more durable, 'cos it definitely makes for great re-reading. I try and go through it at least twice a year, just to remind me of the Good Things and to get stoked on Dave and just living life to the max.
(Bummer the softcover is condensed; I was going to get a copy to replace the fucked up hardcover one, but...nup.)Comment

Bugger, no wonder it took about a week to read. Bugger..............Originally posted by DLR_EngineRoom
Yeah my friend bought both copies and he said that tons of stuff was missing. Softcovers usually are condensed versions.
Thanks for the info though
