Back to the topic but I'd still love to hear VH's version of Wilson Pickett's "In the Midnight Hour" that was apparantly recorded for both Diver Down and 1984. I think Dave would smoke that track.

I'd also like to hear "I'm So Glad" by Cream all of the way through.

Personally, I think Dave rocked Morrison's material with "Soul Kitchen" so I'd love to hear him do one of my favorite Doors tracks "Peace Frog." I also think "Some Girls" by The Stones would be right up Dave's alley.

Soul Kitchen was pretty cool but my favourite cover on that album was the Hendrix one.
Haven't listened to it for a while,might have to crank it tonight over a few frothies.

I post here cause I am a big DLR fan. I just don't happen to think his live performances "vocal wise" are that good. On the other hand he does deliver visualy, which is why I think he doesn't sing too well live. It is hard to dance around and act like that while also carrying a tune.

In the studio I think dave has a slight edge over Hagar, live I think Hagar sings better.
