I remember when 84 came out and I was driving somewhere and House of Pain comes on and just builds and builds and theres those two notes he bends at the end. I was just speechless. These fuckers come out of nowhere and kicked my ass AGAIN. Great moments. Then Dave comes on the radio and just sells the hell out of the album. It's just pure entertainment all around.

I ruined many a guitar pick figuring out the false harmonic in key thing. :D

I was underwhelmed by Eddie’s work on the 96 songs. The energy or the creativity wasn’t there. A song like CGTSNM needed angry or explosive riffs and solos, but we didn’t get that. The wizardry behind “Can’t Get This Stuff No More” and “Me Wise Magic” was all Dave. The explosive vocal delivery and emotion behind the screams/shouts and the lyrics made those two songs absolute classics. CGTSNM is Dave’s greatest lyrical achievement.
