What really sucks is the world REALLY wanted it in 1996. If it happens now, it'll be an interesting story. But it won't be nearly as important. The name "Van Halen" is beyond tarnished right now.

That's exactly what I want now. I don't want David anywhere near this train wreck of a band. Fuck it. We've got some good memories of some young and wild kids who just tore the fuckin' world UP! And we still get good quality music from one of them. After last night, I'm happy with that.

I see your point! But I did qualify it with an "IF" and invited specualtion only. I think it is a 50/50 proposition at best. But you have to admit that these guys are getting on and there must be a tremendous temptation to pad one's retirement nest egg. Regardless of what people here say about Roth not wanting any part of this "train wreck," I clearly recall Howard Stern, about ten years ago, talking about an "off the record" conversation he had with Dave about how Roth had done calculations with some friends of his as to how much a reunion tour would gross, the figure was astounding though I don't remember the exact numbers.

The question is--are the cunt sisters going to offer a full partnership to Dave and give him his due royalties or will they continue to act like a couple of basterized, corporate ass-fucks?

They need to sit round a table, just the 4 of them in a room and talk about everything. Any problems they have, any negative feelings they have, Dave needs to explain why he left and then they have to become friends again.

Eddie and Alex have got to put the past behind them, look Dave in the eyes and apologise. They have to be a band again before they can even attempt to set this planet ON FIRE again.

Eddie needs to go to Rehab and probably councelling [ I mean if you've been on tour with Spam, wouldnt you need councelling?].

Once the air has been cleared, hopefully an album can be planned / written and a tour scheduled. I would love to just see them do a greatest hits tour, but a new album would be quality.

Just like in the early days, Roth's got to have TOTAL 100% control. He would plan everything down to the finest detail and fans would come away every nite with there minds fucked at what they had just seen.

It would be a real shame if they were only doing it for the money, not because they wanted to see MILLIONS of people standing on their seats and singing Ice Cream Man back to them.

Since there IS a Gawd, I can GUARANTEE you, in Dave's best interest, there shouldn't/won't be a reunion of the Classic Van Halen lineup.

I saw Dave 2 1/2 weeks ago LIVE, his band is tight, and there's no need for him to stoop to the level of the other 3 ungrateful members, who have done everything in their power to stomp on Dave himself, the Van Halen name, and us, Dave's fans...including having 3 LIVE Dave classics done by Spammy and included on the new BOBW CD.

And in case you haven't heard, Eddie finally realized that Dave is KING, so he destroyed his guitar and almost hit Spammy and Mikey (yes I said almost.....sigh.....)

To hell with a once fantasized Classic Van Halen reunion, Dave doesn't need or deserve this headache. Period.
