You are right about Gene, Paul, and Dave.

As far as I am concerned Van Halen is David Lee Roth and whoever happens to be in his band at the moment.

And as far as I am concerned Kiss is Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons and whoever happens to be in their band at the moment.

I wish Kiss had ditched Ace and Peter after the first "reunion".

I'd love to see Spammy, Mike Anthony, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, and Alex VH do a band. THAT would be funny.

DIO IS ALL CLASS

Ronnie James Dio is all class. Spoken to people who have met him and I always hear the same thing, that he's the nicest rock star you'll ever meet. Ronnie is always respectful of Ozzy (although Ozzy does not return that respect really) and Ronnie never points out the FACT that Sabbath were done commercially with OZZY. Their last couple of albums with Ozzy had not even gone gold. Heaven & Hell went platinum and returned them to arena status and glory. When asked though Ronnie usually says something like "Sabbath were the first metal band and Ozzy did some wonderful things for Sabbath". Unlike that fool hagar. Unlike the Sabbath situation VH's sales actually DECLINED when they got a new singer yet hagar runs around for years badmouthing ROTH and the legacy he helped create. hagar is a fool. ROTH is a legend. Dio is a legend. hagar is a loser.

If it wasn't for Roth, Hagar would be nothing more than a forgotten 1980's solo act. Hagar's income comes from Dave's legacy.

Metal master of Sabbath... I would be iffy of that one. With all respect for the man and his contributions, Sabbath was Ozzy. After the break up I would consider Sabbath to be Tony Iommi and there is nothing you can compare to the old shit. Much like Van Halen, very similar situation. A jealous fuck that cannot handle one person gaining credit for his amazing work and influential roll. Ozzy and Dave are very similar with respect to each genre. Metal and Rock.

Sabbath without Ozzy is like going to a bar without beer. It just isnt that great. lol.

Dio is the fucking King. Ozzy was a fucking DISASTER and Ron helped Toni bring Sabbath back from the fray with 2 KICK ASS albums, and a Killer live album. The Mob Rules is an awesome album. As for Ron on Dave, he's absolutely right. Dio said "there's a difference between a guy with LSD(Lead SingerDisease), and a guy who knows what the Hell he's DOING!!" Dave knows what he's doing, and so does the Evil Master-RJD.

LSD what about LGD (lead guitarist disease) which Tony Iomi will always have. A very mediocre guitarist at that as well. Maybe the founder of heavy metal but he is still a very weak guitarist. Like Ozzy said, "the druggies kicked the alcoholic out of the band".

Sabbath could arguably not have been as commercial without Ozzy however the early Ozzy years can't even be compared with any Sabbath outside of Ozzy.

Dio is awesome. I saw him open for Iron Maiden last summer, he was better than Maiden. In the year 2004 Dio can still put out a good CD, and put on a killer show. Ozzy can not. Ozzy is no longer famous for his music, its for making an ass out of himself on MTV. Pick up Dio's 2 disc best of Stand Up and Shout.

Gene Simmons has said the Dave years are VH's best. But it is better to tour with Sammy than not tour at all. I have to disagree with him on the later. I'm still a huge Kiss fan.
