    Our best bet!

    The best bet for us Van HALEN fans to hear/see live Van HALEN music is for Edward Van Halen to die!

    Think about it....Alex has a box of rocks between his ears and is due for another divorce anytime now. He would be forced to release old live/demo material to keep up with his alimony and Schlitz bills.

    I'd love to see material released that is being done via folks like Zappa, Hendrix, and the dead.


    So...............

                  Let me clarify.............

                  People die every day. I don't know Eddie. I also don't know any 48 or 49 year old men that will kick the bucket in Fargo, ND or Tampa, FL tomorrow or the next day.

                  Their death will not effect my life in anyway as my death would not effect their lives. So if one Edward Van Halen dies of a heart attack or in a car wreck and I get to hear "great new music" in a year or so, so be it!

                  I'll be selfish...go ahead Eddie....kick the can!

                          No man, it is patently wrong to wish death on anyone for any reason.

                          Certainly, not for the sake of some unreleased material in a vault.

                          Have you been over to the boots section here? Tons and tons of hard to find, unreleased material is to be had.

                          Go download some goodies, crank that stuff LOUD... and, damn all his issues, but wish old Ed a turnaround.

                          Dave would, and he does.

                              Especially in this season of peace and good will.

                              We all want to hear unreleased music from the vault... but not that way. :D

                              Before Ed moves on to his just reward, I want to see him give Dave the respect he deserves.

                              Further, I am not sure that it is possible for the Van Halen name to ever regain the respect it once commanded, but raping the vaults after the death of one Edward Van Halen would only serve to further tarnish the legacy. Such gifts should be freely given.

                                                          While I cannot stand the sound of Van Hagar, I will admit that your request is in very poor taste. Let's keep this above the belt. I don't like at all how Van Hagar or more specifically the VH Bros. have treated both Roth and us fans, but hoping that Eddie will die, gawdforbid, is uncalled for, unsupported by other fans like me, and to say the least, unwanted.
