There's no way Dave would ever sing the Sammy era stuff and in the event of a CVH reunion, I'm not so sure the brothers would ask him too either.

A CVH gig has a whole different vibe to a Van Hagar gig and the latter's material would not suit the ocassion. There's more than enough material from the Classic era to add to MWM and CGTSNM, as well as all the new material they would have.

I don't think all the hardcore fans and metalheads that would come out of the woodwork to see a CVH show would appreciate hearing 'Love Walks In', 'When it's Love' or 'Not Enough'.

His fingerprints are on a few tracks is the general impression most get, and he has confirmed as much.

"Summer Nights" is the one most often cited, and I could easily "hear" that one being Roth'inized.

That's what I always thought! I can actually tolerate "Summer Nights" and I've always noticed that Van Hagar shied away from that song after the first tour. It's not on the "BOBW" compilation.
