Sensible shoes was about leaving van halen and moving on, so i don't think it would be appropriate lol. (at least that's what I thought it was about at the time)
Coming from a guitarist who's been playing and idolizing EVH for 24 years, I don't think Ed could really do Steve Vai's songs justice. Not only that, but it would be a little like asking Dave to do Sammy's songs.
However, Good times would be appropriate, and I think it would be great if they did it. Also, Just a Gigolo would be good, as well as California girls.
I saw the DLR skyscraper tour, and I could've sworn they did good times.I like Van Halen more than Dave's PA Rental.....which means I like Van Halen more than you

I'd want to hear their take on "California Girls". Since the original artist is The Beach Boys, they'll be more accepting of playing that one.
