I agree that updates regarding anything in Dave's life would be nice coming from the man himself... but at least we have the army... :D

An important factor to remember that sammy's site is required to be updated. How do u think he will sell his tequila and his club? The truth of it is even the most unpopular bands have really great sites. I dont think Dave cares. He would have a great site if he wanted to have one but I think hes more concerned with his life right now. Whats great about dave is he is very simple these days. He's livin large right now on his own terms and he knows that the fans here on these boards will always enjoy his shows and any future releases and im humbled to say that. I dont think he cares what the masses think any longer.

as some of you know...I go to chedrocker.com undercover and it's shit all over...even if you are on the fucking message-board (you will not believe what is written there) there are advertising pop-ups crossing the screen and you have to "hunt" them...

but I go with LMS2...not asking for weekly updates but a little ain't enough...

I like Dave's website better. At least it's unique, even if there is next to no content on it. Sammy's is another story. Its webdesign looks like it was made around 1997. When he does update it, it's usually like "Yeah, Van Halen and I are putting out some new songs .... BUT HOLY SHIT I'M PLAYING WITH THE WABORITAS ON MY BIRTHDAY! IT'S GONNA BE SOOO COOL! SEE YOU IN CABO!" which means that anyone who visits his website looking for VH info (prolly 90% of all the hits he gets) doesn't get it. And that audio clip of him welcoming people to the website might seem like a nice gesture to sheep but that's really something more suited to a 13 year old girl's AOL Hometown page on 'N Sync.

He and his couple friends working on it could stand a little brush-up on their HTML skills, no doubt. And, they very seriously need to learn how to shrink pic size resolution for faster load times (the high res. won't even render on the web) as the site is slow as sryup even on DSL...

But, absolutely, it is what he wants it to be at any given time.
