I went to Van Cherone when they toured Down Under. Thought it would be my only chance to see Eddie. Eddie was amazing but overall the show was booooooooooooooooooring!

I won't ever attend a Van Hagar gig, or buy any kind of Van Halen product again unless Dave is involved.

I didnt even attend the Van Cherone gig. And I was in Sydney the night they played... As great as Eddie is/was. Fuck him. He is not the whole band, (and thats coming from a guitarist.)

As a guitarist who can write a riff, it gives you greater appreciation of a
vocalist that can create a great melody and lyric over that riff.
In many ways, its more important than the riff itself..

As a guitarist, I agree with Panamark...you gotta have a killer vocal and vocal melody over the music....or you have shit. The new VH material live came off like fresh, warm, shit. Eddie should just go the Jeff Beck route for now and do instrumental stuff, instead of a friggin greatest hits tour with Mr. Ballad-Hagar. Of course attendence would be worse and I dont know if Ed's ego would allow a club sized tour to happen..Satch does it tho..just a thought.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing Dave come through here...

Sometimes I wish I hadn't gone. I feel like I contributed to legitimising their actions and the way they treated Dave.

Never again though. If Dave's not involved then Eddie, Alex and yes, even Mikey, can all fuck off! I'd rather see Dave and his killer band come down here.

At least Velvet Revolver is coming our way early next year!
