Why did Dave becoming an EMT get more press than an 80 show tour?

More people saw Dave play on the 4th than did all of the Van Hagar tour.

More people will remember the two casino gigs Dave did in November than will remember the 80 shows that were played over the summer tour.


And that is not even including the upcoming New Years Eve bash.

Did the Van Hagars make more money this year... maybe so... but who really cares? Dave gets his cut just cuz he is Dave! But more importantly... Dave has invested wisely and doesn't need to sell out and do shows that make him miserable. That is what counts. :D

Here in Florida, Dave has played in some of the most shitty venues someone could play in. You can't tell me he doesn't play for just anyone. If you saw the clubs he has played in, you might rethink your position. I say clubs because arenas and stadiums no longer apply as it does to the real VH!!!!!!!!
