    What about EVH?

    Hello dudes!
    I'm new here. I became Van halen fan 4 Months ago, and I bought all their records.
    In many Forums the fans of VH told me that Edward is an asshole!
    Why do people think that he is an asshole?
    I bought their DVD "Live without a net" and somebody who makes such a great show (EDDY) and somebody who party on the stage so hard CANNOT be an asshole.. I think. What about you guys?
    Why think people that shit about EVH?
    Please help me

    P.S: what is the meaning of CVH?

      CVH probably refers to Classic Van Halen. As in DLRVH.

      Edward an asshole? Only since '85 or so. :D

      Anyway my advice is to try and obtain a boot of the CVH Largo or US fest '83 and give that LWAN to a cousin that you hate. Just my opinion of course.

                          Guys, this was a fair question from a newbie.

                          Hatred... there is much reading and listening you need to do on this subject to understand the hatred true Roth fans feel not only for Edward, but also Alex, Michael and especially Sam.

                          Start with all the interviews where the remaining members bad mouth Dave and attempt to undermine his contribution to his stardom. We here at the Army know that Classic Van Halen kicks the shit out of anything the band has done since Dave's departure... and most of us are not willing to settle for anything less.

                          Give a good listen to music with Dave vs. music without Dave... if you can't hear, feel and damn near taste the difference, you may be happier at vhlinks...

                          Then go and learn a little about the MTV awards fiasco. Listen to MWM and CGTSNM (Me Wise Magic and Can't Get This Stuff No More) and then listen to the three new songs VH tried to put out this year...

                          Well, thats a good start. When you have done that, if you still don't understand... come and ask again.

                              So we have a rookie, you have a lot to learn my friend. I love eddie to deat, hes my idol, but a lot of the things he has done i think were wrong, making him an asshole

                                  Oh yeha, make sure not to praise Sammy, unless you want to get sent to the sheep pen, any one who knows music can clearly see that Spammy destroyed what Roth created
