COME ON! What a pile of shite their music is. I've heard loads of Hagar and a full Cherone performance and i've gotta say. They'd be shit even if they wern't the ones that replaced Diamond Dave in Van Halen. I just don't understand how you could like them all, and stil call yourself a CVH fan!

These guys are mental. I am not taking sides. You know who's side you're on, good. I just like all 3. Im not partial to anyone. Shit i never said i was a fan of only CVH. I'm a VH fan. ===VH===. The band Van Halen. I saw them over summer, yea its not my fault i was born the same year 1984 came out. The only CVH i've seen is about 5 or 6 DVD's and t he atomic punks about 10 times. Thats as close as im gonna get. Fuck i never said i hated dave, t hats not what this thread is about. I've seen him and i love his solo work (ALAE especially).

This is about whether dave's voice is good still. Put it this way...Sammy hagar is 58 and can sing like it's 1970 for him still. DLR is 50 and can't even sing like he did in 1991 anmore.

Can you imagine him singing Drop in the bucket in 2004? I cant.

Hey, he should just make new music fit for his voice and that would be fine. But shit, im sure joe montana and nolan ryan can still throw a ball better than most people....they're just not good enough to play in the big leauges anymore, thats all.
