Actually, I don't know if it would be THAT bad. It might just work if they strip it down to basic fast rock. Still, they wouldn't be able to play any VH tunes. Ritchie is awesome, but I doubt he could pull off something like I'M THE ONE.Roth Army Militia

Some one would be a chalk outline before the tour even starts. Dave knows the martial arts, while Blackmore is handy with a Strat.

No kidding. Blackmore could barely keep himself in check and hold it together for the Deep Purple reunions of the 1980s, ego-wise, and these were guys he had worked with before.
All of the above posts are spot on. Stylistically, Blackmore isn't even interested in rock music anymore, and the pairing of Roth and Blackmore would be a psychological battlefield with more land mines than classic Van Halen on their worst days.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
