It would be interesting to look back at our old threads when this
all started, I remember saying sub 10k averages would be deemed
a failure. So I consider this a huge failure, considering what they
were anticipating.

IT WAS A FAILURE

It was most definitely a failure in terms of what they expected. And promoters took it on the chin in many cities. I've stated here several times that if this tour had been a blockbuster you wouldn't have heard anything about in-fighting between band members. The reality was quite different. Also it's important to realize that without some of the big cities like Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York etc etc this tour's average would have been even worse. I've never seen so many cities where only 6 or 7 thousand showed up on a VH TOUR. Even I was surprised by the number of sparse attended shows. I'm glad though. hagar had predicted sellouts within minutes of tickets going on sale. To see it rammed back in his face gave me satisfaction.
