King Biscuit Van Halen Power Hour!

Was Van Halen ever on Westwood One's "The King Biscuit Flower Hour?" I recall a friend of mine gave me an infamous 80's "mixtape" containing live Van Halen from presumably the "Diver Down" Tour. They were taped off the Radio (apparently) and had a very good sound quality, and the source tapes would obviously be a bootleg that would be almost a good as a major label live-album release.

Can someone fill me in or does anyone have this? I'll give you my first born!

You sure it wasn't one of the many radio broadcasts of the US Fest?

I still hear a few airings of a few songs from the show a couple times a year.

That might be it actually. I don't think it was the US Festival! But I need the DVD to make sure.

I just wonder if any really REALLY high quality bootlegs exist that are essentially the audio equivalent of a "proshot."

I also find it interesting that CVH was never on TKBFH. I wonder if Eddie knew he would one day seal the vault and make people salivate over a real CVH live album.

I know Van Hagar did a lame interview session with Westwood One around the OU82 tour. I remember it being sort of funny 'cause I could already hear some tension between Eddie and Sammy as they traded barbs. I remember Sammy getting a little pissed and saying that there were nights where, "I had to carry the show," implying Eddie was too drunk to play well after Ed said something about him, but I can't remember what.
