listening to Van Halen 1 round Loss Of Fools house about a year ago just completely blew me away, and since then I have got the 6 Pack, but I listened to VHII so much I lost the fuckin disk so in theory I have the cases and spent the money but I don't actually have the VHII disk. looks like I'll have to buy another copy.

i remember i used to listen to 1984 on tape and jump and down on my bead to..jump of course. me being like 7 or 8 or so. then after that i found my moms stereo with a turntable on top. and started unpacking and listening to the records, after using some thing called ted nugent as a frsibie with my friends(no dissing, but thats how i remember) i put on something called van halen, and i thought the cover was pretty cool. and that was the beginning with van halen. my fav's were you really got me, i'm the one, feel your love tonight, at the time i hated little dreamer and thought that it was the worst song they could of put on there. i dont what it is as a kid but you only seem to like fast pace songs with fast guitar and fast drums. yeah...
then later on MTV a they were doing some video countdown and show van halen doing junp and i about freaked, (it never occured that jump and that album were done by the same band). after that its a fog of buying every van halen cyes and van hagar, and every VHIII wich i listened to without you...once and i dont think i have heard any other songs of that album...
still have 1984 tape and when i get pmy license and my ranger its the first tape getting played.

It's a whole new experience. I did have copies of them off of David Van Via, but that's just cheap and Nasty, so i bought them. Best £60 i ever spent!

What was it like for anyone else when they first got their CVH albums?

Then Dave goes: "So... it was you!?"

Yesterday, I completed the 6. I bought Diver Down yesterday. Finally. I had the other 5 for years. So, I have the 6 pack in it's entirety now.

The 6 pack is the BEST SHIT EVER, and FUCK the sheep who don't know any better!!! DLR=Genius.
I learned to like the Hot for Teacher video because of my parents. I remember seeing the video when I was little on some music video channel or something and thinking it was really weird but my dad loved it (being a long-time VH fan) and he taught me about Van Halen that day. I've never been the same since.:D I only started listening to them last year though and what a great year it's been!

Ah yes! I remember it well. The anticipation. Nothing like it. They were the Kings!!
