Nice to see the Official Van Halen Newsletter re-activated. Now, don't tell me that was done for no apparent reason!
One the subject of grasping at any clue that comes along - here's another interesting piece of the seemingly CIA protected Van Halen puzzle.
Kevin Goldammer mailed me some info from the USA. It seems Kevin signed up for concert updates from the venue in his area - the Sioux City Orpheum (www.orpheumlive.com). One such update was in fact an e-mail survey about potential upcoming performers. This survey reads as follows:
"Once again thank you for the overwhelming response to the surveys we have sent out for potential performers in the past. We have a new list of performers listed below, some to perform at the Orpheum and some at the new Tyson Event Center, which opened for concerts this week....This is an exciting time for entertainment in Siouxland, and we continue to ask for your help in giving us feedback so we can continue to have successful shows at our venues.
We would like to ask for your help again. Please hit reply, to this email, and let us know how many, if any, tickets you would purchase to see the performers listed below. Please leave the subject line intact as that helps us route the email correctly:
Santana . Incubus ($32.50 Ticket) . Van Halen With Sammy Hagar . Boston . Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers . Journey (At Ballpark) . Hillary Duff . Josh Groban . Brian Setzer Christmas Show . Merle Haggard . Kiss (With Poison)."
End survey. Now, is it just me, or are we getting seriously close to an official announcement?!
