This thread, much like Spammy's singing, is degenerating into a cruelty to animals debacle. My dog use to run out of the room and whine incessantly when I played Hagar on the radio. I think Van Hagar vocals are sort of like running one's fingers down a chalk board for animals.

I genuinely dislike Sammy's vocals. I also think he is a very lame
entertainer compared to Dave.

Nobody could replace Dave, but they could have done a *LOT* better
than Hagar.

I honestly have to turn off any Van Hagar songs due to the annoyance
of his vocal style. His lyrics suck. I will never understand him being
hired for this once classic Rock band.
