Those are gold caps instead of fillings. Caps can be made out of porcelin but on the back molars; especially on the lower jaw, gold is the best material because it's maliable and won't chip or crack teeth like porceline does.
People who have a loose jointed jaw tend to crack their molars and have gold caps back there by the time they are 50 years old. I had to have the same thing done myself. Gold works great but the only problem is you kinda look like Flavor Flav if you open your mouth too wide.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment
