I don't look toward the Blender geeks for validation that Dave is the man. The people that write that rag are serious losers.

Th fact that Sammy's primary income is from Tequila shouldn't be a source of derision.

U2 claim they make off their property investments (they own several hotels throughout Ireland) than their records. Even Dave said in his book that he was "lucky to find other ways to pay for junior's college" than through the VH legacy.

The fact that Sammy blows, that's another story.

:D I'm not sayin' that BLENDER is the barometer of hip, Viv. It's just cool to see a mainstream AMERICAN rock mag, aimed at the younger generation, give DAVE his proper respect 3 times in the last 8 months alone!:D

Must have been heartwarming to the Van hagar people to see DAVE attracting more publicity for doing charitable work than the 2004 FLEECE THE SHEEP tour!
