I always wondered how VH picked their SUCKASS opening acts?

I remember two in particular.....one of them was on the VH II tour and was called either Screams or The Scream.

    LAME-O! LA-A-A-A-AME-OH!

The other was the infamous G-FORCE, who opened on either Diver Down or Mean Streets (I could be wrong about the tours these bands are on, but that is what I seem to remember).

THe one thing I remember about G-Force is them making a bunch of sorry-assed racket, and the singer idiot screaming: NOW LETS SEE HOW IT SOUNDS WITH A SYNTHESIZER!!!!!!

And he would proceed to make this horrible noise that sounded like he was murdering it.....well, he was murdering the music anyway.....

This is just a random thought I have always had from time to time when thinking about my enjoyable experience seeing one oif the greatest rock bands on Earth. Naturally, having a lame opening band made the crowd all the more rabid for VH to get out on stage and kick our motherfucking asses!

G-Force? Holy shit! They played a party at my small lame assed college in 86 (maybe 85). Good guitarist, but I didn't like their music at all...

In '81 I saw VH and the opening act was Wrabbit. I don't remember anything about them, other than hating them.

I think after VH blew Sabbath away as an opening act both bands never tried to book a good opener again. I read an article about Sabbath and they came out and said they might stick with southern rock bands or something, no more young metal acts.
