Ever Notice Bands with a Band Member's Name Usually Don't Get Along??

In addition to Van Halen (we can debate what effects naming the band after the sisters had on VH's careers), there were many many bands who struggled and didn't get along when the band name was the same as a member's name. Here's a partial list...

1. Dokken
2. Winger
3. Slaughter
4. Edgar Winter Group
5. Kenny Wayne Shepherd (KWS Band)

...What if Van Halen were called Mammoth? Or THE DLR Band?

Haha true, true, except for his new album. They were tanking fast under the KWS Band name...Fired their singer and now KWS is just KWS...and he sings now. The new album is a total mixed bag with a few good tunes...

Anyone that uses their name for a band name has a lack of creativy. This doesn't include Van Halen. Cause that is close to the dutch word for some kind of god.
