Classic Van Halen had THE look alright. "Scary skinny" as Dave would say. To me they not only looked happy, they looked dangerous too. They had that edgey look of a killer young band.
With Sammy they look safe, acceptable and mainstream. They lost their edge and it showed.
As a band their whole message since Dave left, through their music AND their image, is one of confusion.Comment
