    I say chuck the "deadwood" and Dave and Ed SHOULD seek replacements for a mediocre drummer and a mimic myna bird for a bassist. Neither one of them have done anything outside of VH in a leadership role, which tells me how weak they are.

    Bring on Billy and grab Steve Smith, Peter Criss, Stewart Copeland, Jason Bonham, Vinnie or Carmine Appice, Tommy Lee...fuck anyone that can touch and hold 2 drumsticks.

    Mike and Al can pretty much hit the fuckin' bricks at this point. Dave and Ed jamming with Billy Sheehan Ray Luzier would be a good start.

    Totally feel Ed needs some shaking up and quality time outside of the 5150 bubble. Getting an outside producer who won't be intimidated would be of use, too.

        Billy Sheehan is a tremendous bass player, and he wouldn't do those too high-pitched notes that I'm personally allergic to.
        It may be another "what if..." thread, yet it's not uninteresting, is it?

                            Billy Sheehan has said recently there is no way he would ever work with Dave again, so to even discuss it is moot.
