Hey people-
Before you all get pissed at this subject thread, let me just say...I'm on your side!!! During the previous Sam 'n Dave tour I was in the audience at the PNC Bank arts center in Jersey. I am a VH fan from waaaaay back, and saw them in 1981 ad '84 and I was lucky enough to see Dave during the SnD tour a few years ago. When I showed up at PNC with a bagful of rotten produce (which is a miracle that I even got past security) to throw at Sammy during his set, I was so looking forward to hurling rotten red cabbage at him during his set that followed Dave that night. To make a long story short. I hurled many rotten produce items at Sam at the begining of his set. What could be more appropriate after hearing Dave do so many awesome tunes! but shortly thereafter, the security of PNC threw me out. What the hell?? Where was the DLR 'Army' when I needed them. I felt shafted by my own people. My own PUSSY people. C'mon!! Did you guys wanna see 'Van Hagar'? Did you wanna see Eddie Van Halen, the greatest living Rock Guitarist show up at the front door of your house? Or did you jus want to sit there and witness the departure of fake fi-in Jackson in some lame LA hotel.
