This thread is no surprise from a douchebag who started the "Stop bashing Sammy (hear me out)" thread.

Eddie is far and away the undisputed king of guitar in my book. But that doesn't absolve him from all of the bullshit he's created and the way he's shit on a huge segment of his fan base for 20 years. He's contradicted himself so many times on the record that it's really become comical.

If CVH reunite and put out some killer music, still won't erase the fact that Ed and Al are a couple of douchebags. Yes, both of them. I don't buy the theory that Al has controlled the band for the last decade or so and this coupled with Ed's alcohol problem somehow exonerates EVH. He knows what he's doing.

Fuck 'em both for making us wait this long. At this point, I can honestly say it matters not to me if Roth gets back together with the Van Halens. Am kinda hoping the reason the reunion hasn't happened isn't that the Van Halen's haven't asked Roth, but that Roth doesn't want anything to do with a couple of duds (not even bothering to include MA in the equation - he does whatever Sammy tells him to).

Will give Ed some money in exchange for some future classic video/audio release or if he pulls his head out of his ass and starts coming up with music that elicits a reaction other than a yawn from me. Short of that, got no use for him anymore.
