I hereby make my declaration that I believe that we will hear from the mighty Van Halen. At the very least we are going to get those songs recorded in 2000. At best we're going to get a new VH record and a tour. Either way...I'll take it. If Ed were trying to convince Dave it was a bad idea to get back together, he could bring him here to his own Army and see all the negative shit you folks say about a Van Halen reunion. Fuck that. Spam is most likely out. Ed is looking to keep VH alive, and I want all of them to know that I WANT NEW MUSIC FROM VAN HALEN WITH THE FOUR ORIGINAL MEMBERS. It can happen, it involves nothing more than a few people making the decision for it to happen. If you're considering it guys. I for one am behind it one hundred percent. I will buy the CD. I will attend the Show. I will put the torch on my website. I will dance in the streets. But, best of all, I WILL HAVE MORE VAN HALEN MUSIC!!!

Make it happen guys. And if holding my breath til it happens makes it happen faster, I'd be glad to do that. I am a fan that wants to see those four masters of Rock N Roll on stage together even if they hate each other when they do it.

Dude I want it just as bad as anybody. But having seen VH in 2004 and having talked to people who are close to the band I just don't see it happening. Ed Van Halen just doesn't have his shit together. To say he want's to keep VH alive is partially true in the sense that all he's concerned about now is repackaging Greatest Hit albums and selling anything with his signature red black and white color scheme. He's just cashing in. If he really had 10 albums worth of material ready to go, don't you think we would've heard something other than the 3 lame ass songs on BOBW? Shit, he's playing the fucking cello now for christsakes.

Ed will always be one of my idols, but it's a damn shame how he's pissed all over his legacy - and his fans - for the past 9 years.
