Yeah like I figured. I never really insulted the mental midget a.k.a. TLR. I had enough to back up my arguement. It is funny. Most rock bands will say they have major love for the original classic VH when asked about VH or how they fell about the band. Even the crappy actor Nic Cage knows better. I like Van Halen not Van Hagar. Most people always knew them as a household name with DLR. I can gurantee you most of the world-Europe, Japan, Australia know DLR solo and VH with Dave. I can also tell you it is funny that most people in the general public wanted an original VH reunion. rock radio only really plays Hagar solo. THey don't in Chit town hardly play Van Hagar, Montrose or even DLR solo that much. They do always rock out the CVH though. It is the most memorable music. It is obviously preferred. I have heard the vhlinkers complain of the fact that more CVH is played than VH MAch II. Hey if this tour was so greatly received they would have made it a better known fact that Sammy was the singer. They didn't do that. Van Hagar pulled a KIss and were vague who was in the band and who wasn't. Alot of the radio commercials had Jump, Panama, Unchained, Everybody Wants Some and Runnin' With the Devil. They just kept saying see Van Halen. They never did say that often who was singing. It give the wonder and impression that perhaps DLR was singing, when if fact he wasn't. Kiss did the same when Ace and Peter left. Tommy Thayer wore Ace makeup and Eric SInger wore Peter Criss makeup. I even remember at the UC show on this 04' tour. Sammy Hagar tried a split and spinning back. I don't hear the linkers or you TLR whining about how bad he looked. And believe me he looks worse than present day Dave doing kicks.
