Extra! Extra! Read about it! Hit Parade magzine's new issue has a great. great VH article. It covers the history of Van Halen. From David to Sammy and to today.
Baiscally, the article talks about how with David, they change rock music when they came out. They talk about David being a great frontman and how Eddie is the best guuitarar of his generation. They mention about how some fans will only accept original line-up.
Then they talk about how Sammy replaced David and VH would "enjoying the heights of commercial acclaim." It mentions how with discs like OU812, 5150 and Blance, the reconstitued quartet turned into hard rock equivalent of McDonald-serving millions around the globe.
