I have heard no such rumor.
But it's a good idea.
Dave should hop on this summer's AC/DC tour.
That would be a good idea, except the obvious question is.... Does Dave even have a band at this point? Last I heard, Brian Young and James Lomenzo were otherwise employed this summer.

Nah. I for one am fuckin' sick of rock acts get packaged with 4 others on one bill with each band having to play 8-9 songs and call it good so that the others have time. Give me an opener, give me a headliner, and let me go home...AC/DC and Dave? Who opens? Co-headlining? Means you get less from the both of them.
2. If Dave gets on a bill with someone who will draw shitloads of people, then MORE POWER TO HIM! HE NEEDS THE EXPOSURE!!
Man if he could open for AC/DC, he would be playing for sellout crowds again, even though he would not be the main attraction.....people would get a taste of what CVH was like back in the day....

I know James is out with Black Label Society, but I haven't
heard anything about Brian.
Ray seems pretty stoked about a summer tour with Dave,
but he ended his last email with, It's all up to Dave, we'll

Agreed. That would be a kick ass tour!

Originally posted by Ally_Kat AC/DC and Dave are two huge staples in my music diet. I would so go to such a show.
Would be cool to compare the tickets sales from that show to the Dave and Sam show.
No comparison. AC/DC either sold out or almost sold out every show on their last North American tour.
Sam & Dave Tour was nowhere close to those numbers.
Therefore...using simple math (A + B = C divided by the co-efficient of Pam Anderson's boob job), such a tour would be wildly successful compared to the Sam & Dave Tour.
