Here is my point. This guy has been with vh since the mid seventies. Was there before the brothers were famous. These days he is seen as the silent one,almost like a hired bass player. Don't you think if he were more outspoken it would benefit VH and us fans. Because if the sisters see this(mikes being more outspoken and having a say in projects) they would feel more powerless than they actually are.

Another reason Mike could actually be a key is that Mike is very close to Spammy. That all but spells disaster for any chance of the original 4 to reunite as the once mighty Van Halen. The Mike and Sam bond
only hurts the Dave return!!

Let me put this to you in terms you can plainly understand,

"No"!

Mike's level of control in the band has always been at a level less than "0" and let's not kid ourselves. By all accounts a great guy but he is not an individual who weilds control, whether it be social or musical, to any extent.



The only thing that would be gained, by Mikey takin' and attempting to exert influence would be you own level of knowledge concerning the particualrs. Van Halen is enough of a three ring circus and this would simply add a new element. I've heard enough. These millionaires can either put up or shut up!

Yes. The ability to hold down and pick 'E' for extended periods of time...


Although, I will say I downloaded Mike doing his John Entwistle impression on a live cover of "Summertime Blues" and was mildly impressed.

I just don't understand what happened to Mike. I know we all mature eventually (or most of us do), but how could he go from being so badass in the early days, to being so lame now with his preference forall things Sammy and his brand of cheese rock.

Although Mike has little say or influence, he is essential for a CVH reunion.

I don't think Mike is the key to much really. Yes he has bondage with Sammy... sorry bonds, but what is really messing up a reunion is the twisted jealousy of 1 man: Alex Van Halen.

Now the thing here is that Ed could bring Dave back, but he can't/won't or is incapable of standing up to his brother (although just standing up seems to be a challenge for Ed these days).
