Not to jump the gun or anything, and apologies if this has already been asked...

But, what's everyone's opinion as to the motive of DLR's upcoming tour dates??

They seem to have just popped up out of nowhere. Is Dave dusting off the pipes in anticipation of a much more rigorous tour schedule with, perhaps, Mikey and the sisters??

Or is Dave just being Dave and going out, doing his thing the way he likes to do it, and having fun?

I don't want to read too much into it, but just thought I would ask.

Think of it this ways guys. Eddie was just recently spotted in New York. Dave lives there at the moment. Right around the time Eddie is spotted there all these tour dates pop up. Hmmm something could be brewing boys and girls and animals of all shapes and sizes!!

Enough with the conspiracy theories! Are many of you all relatives of Oliver Stone or decendents and offspring of the conspiratists relating to the JFK investigation. The only thing I've heard with more specualtion is how they get the caramilk inside the carimilk bar!

Dave's a singer. Dave's a performer. Dave is an entertainer. Dave likes a live audience. Dave's been doin' this touring for 25 plus years.

Ed's mindset doesn't include anything even remotely resembling DLR!

Come on people its at best a fuckin pipe dream. If there's some substancial eveidence about CVH being in the same building or room than there's some room for speculation. But because Dave's seen fueling up his tour bus in April it doesn't mean the original lineup will be touring come summer time!

If the tour bus stops off at 5150, makes a bee line to the liquor store to pick up some Heinikin and Marliboros, the 7-Eleven for a flat of rubbers, than mabey we have something but until than you'll be pissing in the wind...

My suggestion...wear a raincoat.

1) Dave says his manager calls the VH camp at the start of each new year and asks "Are you ready"...so far, they aren't.

2) It was widely reported that Ed wanted to do a dual singer tour back in 2004. It is RUMORED that Dave said "Nahh, do your thing with Sam...then we"ll talk"

3) I have been told...and a few of you know by whom, that, THE TALKS between Dave and VH have never really "broken down", if you will, since 2001.The lawyers and And those "talks" continue...there is a genuine feeling that before VH is laid to rest and they all retire, A CVH reunion SHOULD occur. Not will, should. So, we'll see...

4) Thats what I know...

As POJ just stated, its just Dave doing what he wants when he wants.

So, I wouldn't read too much into it.

However, I do think Dave just likes to keep himself 'road ready' in the event Ed and Al come to their senses.
