I've heard SAMMY have trouble with it on a few bootlegs (comparing SHEEP logic folks), and yes, Hagar doesn't always sing very well, even by his standards. The version form the much vaunted Pitt's 88' boot made me sleepy and incoherent!Comment

Dave had nothing to do with Summer Nights. It's a proved fact. summer Nights was written way after Dave left and was actually the secnd song recorded by Van Hagar.
