Sammy's "a Game"?

i don't get it. personally, i know CVH is a well known band. when i try to get someone into them, i usually bring up some hits for a frame of reference. i don't claim to be the most hardcore fan of the band, but when i play folks songs by the original lineup i skip the radio songs and cut to the baddest shit to drop people's jaws. i have worn out the hits and usually pass over them.

why then, do spammy fans cheer on his garbage! many of us scoff at van hagar, but i think there are levels to the quality of the tunes. saying you like the bottom of the bottom like feels so good, when it's love, can't stop loving you, eagles fly, not enough...that kinda shit...IT SUCKS!!! if i were honestly asked which non dave vh songs can i hack i'd at least name some of the better ones: 5150, pleasure dome...uh...songs like amsterdam and runaroud i think have cool RIFFS...and, well that's close to it. some of the riffs are cool, and ed could whip out a cool solo at any time, but sam directly ruins most of it, and half-ruins ALL of it. and the fact that y'all pick the softest of a hard band turned soft is very telling.

WITH SAMMY, NO VH SONG CAN EVER SCORE A 10.

hmm...as a youngin i saw vh with sam. his voice was so bad he stopped the show and thanked ed for carrying him! sure the stuff with sam is not the worst thing ever, but compared to the original lineup? please. sam made soft little eddie feel better and made the music MUCH worse. you 3 or 4 sammy fans should go back to the sammy message board and double their numbers! they could use the support 'right now'.
