I think it would be best for all os us to admit that the reunion of CVH is never going to happen. Let´s be realistic; the quys are all well over fifty and some have serious personal problems.
Dave can wait for a phone call form the VH camp but it will not happen. I believe it would be best for Dave to have some self respect and not be begging for a reunion. The more Daves makes known his wish to rejoin VH the smaller the chances of this happening.
And even if there would be a reunion do you believe that CVH would be a hit and sell out stadiums ? I do not believe so.
Dave has had his fair share of fame, money, girls etc. in the 80s so so the best thing he could would be to retire with dignity and enjoy his remaining years.
Some things are best left in the past: No-one can take take away the memories or dispute the legacy of VH, but we would probably all do us a favor by looking into the future. There are plenty of good young rock bands around today.Comment

Perhaps not "stadiums"....you're talking 70,000++ for those venues, but I KNOW they would sell out regular "arena" shows of 30,000+
But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see them fill a stadium or two...just not on successive nights.

I think you're greatly underestimating the Classic Van Halen mystique and the strength of the fan base. Just look at this website...12,000+ members and new recruits every day. That should tell you something.
The CVH fan is the prime demographic with money to spend, and they would gladly shell out to see the shows on multiple nights in their town.

That's true. But none show any signs of single-handedly changing the face of rock the way Van Halen did in the 70's and early 80's.[i]There are plenty of good young rock bands around today.
Didn't see how old you are on your profile, Nebraska, so I don't know if you were around for VH in it's prime. But it was more than just a band....it was practically a religion for some of us!!!
