According to ABC ePrep, VAN HALEN singer Sammy Hagar says that while he and guitarist Eddie Van Halen patched up the rift between them, they're "not as friendly as I would've wanted to be." Still, as Hagar told the New York Daily News, the members of VAN HALEN got along well on their reunion tour last year "until the end, when we were getting on each other's nerves. There was no real leader, so we started doing the same show every night. There was no spontaneity, and that got to me." That's not likely to be the case with Hagar's current tour with his band THE WABOS. Hagar says his show will be classic Hagar, "but I'm going to add a few new things and the show will be cooking."

what will the Hagaritas' say now?...even Sammy is saying the shows sucked....nice slap in the face to the people who payed top dollar see this..

wow people actually go see hagarson with the rest of van halen backing him,imagine seeing that guy alone.if i wanted to see a fat guy put down bottles of tequila,i'd put on a couple of hundred pounds and video tape me and my friends on the weekend,and we'd probably hit more notes than hagarson

Gotta love Sam, waiting half a year after the tour is over to address the issues he had with the Van Hagar 2004 live shows (setlists, etc.), and then doing it in a press forum. Cheap ploy to get some publicity for his next waborita tour.

Hey, Red Chedd, maybe you should have saved these gripes for the Van Halen brothers and said that stuff to 'em at a time when it would have made a difference, instead of playing live shows that lacked spontaneity.
